You have to admit, when Quiet Riot’s Come On Feel the Noize, or Outkast’s Hey Ya starts playing, it can be a challenge to not pick up the pace a bit. Nobody Asked Us w/ Des & Kara

Two US legends in the sport of running, Des Linden (2 time Olympian, 2018 Boston Marathon Winner) and Kara Goucher (2 type Olympian and 2007 silver medalist in 10,000 meters at the World Championships in Athletics), share their insights on all things running while providing a few laughs along the way. Although this podcast is fairly new, you can tell they have a lot of fun doing it so fingers crossed it’s here to stay. Run times on their episodes are around 1 hour so you can knock out a few miles while being entertained by two of the best. 

Strength Running

Hosted by Jason Fitzgerald, a USATF running coach, 2:39 marathoner and former Men’s Running Magazine’s Influencer of the Year, this podcast aims to help you be a better runner and achieve your running goals. Looking to prevent or overcome injuries? Level up your training while pounding the pavement with this podcast. We think you’ll find this to be one of the best running podcasts to supplement your training. Run times for Strength Running range from 45 minutes to just over an hour with some shorter segments around 10-15 minutes to educate you on several hot topics. 

Ali on the Run

Hosted by Ali Feller, this podcast helps you appreciate the sport of running. With Ali interviewing runners each week learning on why they love the sport and how they stay motivated, it’s easy to relate to the individuals as they share their stories. Run times for Ali on the Run usually range between 50 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes. 

Doctors of Running

This running podcast is for all the shoe geeks out there. Maybe not necessarily the best running podcasts in terms of listening while you run, but certainly the most informative, in depth podcast about running shoes. Hosted by a group of physical therapists, who discuss the art and science of running as it relates to running shoes. Every week an episode drops with an in depth analysis either comparing shoe models, shoe architecture and structure, or general knowledge about running shoes and the brands. Run time for their episodes are usually around an hour with smaller quick vlogs released with 5 to 10 minute run times.

I’ll Have Another

Hosted by Lindsey Hein, this longstanding running podcasts where runners of all levels from new marathoners to world class athletes are interviewed to provide inspiration to the audience. Lindsey’s style is very charismatic and laid back and provides easy listening for long runs. Run times for I’ll Have Another range from 45 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes.
